James' training and experience in advanced and diverse techniques, enables him to help with a wide variety of musculoskeletal and other physical conditions. He also has a wealth of experience working with a wide range of people from semi professional athletes to those with disabilities. Treatments range from general muscle maintenance, postural work, long term injury management, rehab and just to relax.
Sports and Remedial Massage has many benefits, two of the most significant are the effect they have on the circulatory and lymphatic systems. By improving circulation, the body is able to heal quicker as the nutrients are able to reach their targets faster. By flushing the lymphatic system, we clear cellular debris and toxins from the body by allowing the cells to work more efficiently, thus increasing recovery and repair times. With the use of release and stretch techniques, we can improve and correct muscle imbalances to aid posture or release joint and muscle pain.
